James "Dickie" R. Mason

James R. “Dickey” Mason, age 64, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Misty Marie Mason; parents, Jack and Beulah Mason; and three brothers and three sisters. He leaves behind his loving wife of forty-three years that he loved and cherished, Sharon Mason; son, the light of his dad’s life, Jason Mason (Ashley Brockwell); two grandchildren who were his world and who he loved dearly, Braxton Mason and Morgan Mason; two bonus grandchildren, Kasen Brockwell and Taylin Brockwell; brothers, Walter Mason and Jackie Mason; sister, Barbara Purkey; and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Westside Chapel Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
