James "Jimmy" Robert Seals

James “Jimmy” Robert Seals, age 74, of Morristown, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a devoted and faithful member of The House of Prayer Church. He loved his church and had a love for children. He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Lillian Brockwell; brothers, Billy Seals and Curtis James Brockwell; sister, Susie (Sam) Sinard; and several other brothers and sisters. He is survived by his nephews, William (Terri) Seals, Curtis (Lisa) Brockwell, and Chris (Karen)Mutter; niece, Kim (Steve) Betz; cousin, Bessie Russell; half brothers, Steve and Larry Seals; half sister, Sudie Seals; sister-in-law, Conchita Brockwell; and several other cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, July 28th at House of Prayer Church. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, July 29th at The House of Prayer Church with Rev. Joe Devotie and Rev. Eddie Gray officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
