James "Landon" Lawson

James “Landon” Lawson, age 53, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. Lawson and Betty L. Collins; brothers, Robert Lawson, Michael Smith, and Gary Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Dena Lawson; granddaughter, Hannah Hill; sisters, Lori (Tony) Nead, Diane (Charles) Collins White, Glenda (Howard) Turner, Connie Marcum, Janice Combs, and Wanda Cate; brother, Gary (Pam) Lawson; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rodney Ricketts and Rev. Terry Collins officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
