James "Pete" Bunch Obituary

James Carl “Pete” Bunch, age 76, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his residence. He was a member of First Independent Freewill Baptist Church of Bean Station. Pete was a hard working farmer and drove a truck most of his life. He loved his horses, hunting, and fishing. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Bunch; parents, William Carl and Helen Elizabeth Bunch; brothers, Ray Bunch and Kenny Bunch; and sister, Becky Baxley. He is survived by his children, Debbie (Robert) Collins, Steve Bunch, Michelle (Tim) Welch, Jennifer (Jessie) Walker, Heather (Jamie) Seals, Becky (Allen) Hilton, Victoria Bunch, and Elizabeth Bunch; brothers, Roger Bunch and Bill Bunch; sisters, Joann Baxley, Mary Baxley, Linda Huskey, and Cathy Cowan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Gary Baxley and Rev. Donnie Myers officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 8th at Jarnagin Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
