Janice "Kathy" (Short) Jarnagin

Janice “Kathy” Jarnagin, age 69, of Bean Station, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her residence. She attended Clintview Missionary Baptist Church. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Ethel Short; and sister, Debbie Wilson. She is survived by her husband of forty three years, Dale Jarnagin; sons, Jerry Dale (Paige) Jarnagin and Markus (Brandi) Jarnagin; grandchildren, Ally Jarnagin and Easton Jarnagin; sisters, Linda Campbell and Carolyn (Curtis) Weber; and her dogs, Daisy and Layla. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, August 4th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev. Lyndall Welch officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 5th at Holt’s Family Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
