Jerry Edwin Odom

Jerry Edwin Odom, age 71, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Jerry was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He worked in construction for 50 plus years. Jerry loved God, his family, and old cars. His faith was unwavering and shined light everywhere he went. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith Odom; brother, Wesley Odom; and sister, Helen Thatcher. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Andrea) Odom, Jamey Odom, and Travis Odom; daughter, Nikki (Andrew) Pate; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Daniele) Odom, Brandon Odom, Micah (Ellie) Odom, Maeson Odom, and Alex Musick; great-grandchildren, Braylee, Peyton, and Elia Odom; brothers, Howard, Frank, and David Odom; sisters Wilma Pipkins and Juanita Purkey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 24th at Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Brewer officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Lung Association.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
