Jimmy Lynn Trent

Jimmy Lynn Trent, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a loving husband, father, and Pap. He had a great sense of humor with a contagious smile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Trent; son, Ricky Lynn Trent; and sister, Mary E. Greene. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Betty Trent; son, Jeff (Laura) Trent; grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Matthew, and Weston Trent; great-granddaughter, Catherine Trent; daughter-in-law, Teresa Trent; and niece, Sharon Hipshire. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, February 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Asa Majors officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 11th at Bethesda Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
