Joan C. Hain, age 85, of Morristown, passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms and into the arms of her Lord and Savior to be greeted by many family members. Her and her husband spent thirty-nine years together praying for everyone in their lives and taking care of their many children that they called their own in Belize, Haiti, and Bangladesh. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Erline Craven; previous husband, Willis “Junior” Macon, Jr.; brothers, Larry and Bubba Johnny; sister, Joyce; mother-in-law, Myrtle Lilly; and grandson, Anthony Yount. She is survived by her husband, Wilson Hain; daughters, Penny (Scott) Knight, Gloria Odom, Robin (Chuck) Mehaffey, and Debby Petko; sons, John (Angela) Macon, Richard Hain, Clifford Hain, and Ronnie (Rita) Hain; brother, Jimmy (Wendy) Craven of Charleston; sister, Gloria Craven of Charleston; brother-in-law, Forrest Tucker of Charleston; sister-in-law, Ethel (Bobby) Troxell; fourteen grandchildren; four adopted grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many other family members and so many dear friends. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2nd at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Tony Buchanan and Rev. Alan Duncan officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Manley Baptist Church to feed the Haitian children in the orphanages. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
