Joe Thomas (Joe Tom) McAnally, age 85, went to be with the Lord Sept. 2, 2020 at his home in Thorn Hill, TN. He was saved at the age of 14 and was a member of Raven Hill Church. A retired trucker and U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nellie McAnally; sisters, Pauline (Kyle) Brogan, Helen (Earl) Davidson, and Betty (James) Jarnigan; brothers, Roy McAnally, and James McAnally; brothers in-law, Ray Dean Green, and Buck Long. He survived by his wife of 49 years Elora McAnally; daughters, Kathy England, and Stephanie McAnally; son and daughter in-law, Charlie and Angie McAnally; Grandchildren, Ashley (Dennis) Ramsey, Aaron (Chelsey) England, Caitlin England, Layla, Myla, and Gavin McAnally; great grandchildren, Tenley, Braxton, and Mia; brother, Larry (Sharon) McAnally; sisters, Fern Long, Doll Green, Shirley (Don) Collinsworth, Barbara (Doug) Jones, and Janice (Jim) Cox; sisters- in-law, Janet McAnally and Barbara McAnally; special friend and caregiver, Jeff Luckes; Also a host of special nieces, nephews, in- laws, friends, and neighbors whom he loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Friday, September 4th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday, September 5th at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating. Interment will follow in McGinnis Harrell Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
