John Robert Capps

John Robert Capps, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force  and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Loren; mother, Hazel Capps; brother, Darrell L. Capps; and nephew, Robert L. Capps. He is survived by his daughter, Jessie Capps; grandchildren, Gabriel Wells and Jude Inman; sisters, Betty Longhenry and Kathy Levine; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. and friends are encouraged to offer words of encouragement.
