John William Scarlett

John William Scarlett, age 51, of Talbott, passed away with cancer Thursday, September 10, 2020. Johnny was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. He was a proud US Army veteran, serving during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Manuela Scarlett; father, William (Bill) Scarlett; mother, Patricia Dickerson Musser; and a host of other close family members and friends. Johnny is survived by his son, Colby Scarlett; grandson, Jaxson Scarlett; sisters, Sami(Dennis Pell) Scarlett, Beth (Marc) Cox; nieces and nephews, Jonathan (Beth Morie) Jones, Sydnee (Jordy Cross) Lowery, Tanner (Allison) Lowery, Cameron Cox and Jayde Lamb; great niece, Lyla B. Jones; and aunts, LaVonda Knight and Jodi Shults. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 14th at Economy Methodist Church Cemetery for Military Graveside Service with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating.
