Johnnie "John" Trent

John Trent, born into this life on January 16, 1957, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was saved when he was ten years old at Duck Creek Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. John has always loved cars, trucks, and lawnmowers of all kinds, and you rarely seen him without a cup of coffee or a diet Mountain Dew. Most of all, he loved Jesus, his grandchildren, and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Emily Trent who loved him dearly. He is survived by his wife of forty five years, Jennifer Trent; daughter, Lindsey and husband Danny Livesay, and their children, Molly and Noah Livesay, all of Morristown; daughter, Kelli Trent and her son, Gabe Mull of Sneedville; special friend, Zach Johnson; and a host of special cousins and friends who loved him. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21st at Duck Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville with Rev. Kester Bunch, Rev. Doug Livesay, and Rev. Alan Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in the Duck Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
