Johnny William Myers, passed away peacefully at his home after an extended illness. He was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, doing active duty in France. Johnny was a member of the Freemasons and the Shriners. He retired as a driver from Roadway in White Pine, TN. While at Roadway, he was recognized for driving more than three million miles accident free. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Harper Myers; parents, Will and Mary Myers; sisters, Myrtle Myers, June Miller, Birdie Bolden, I Jean "Toots" Roberts, Frances Cope, Billie Jo McNew, Linda Williams, and Barb McManaway; brothers, Coy Myers and Freddie Myers; sister-in-law, Martha Myers; brothesr-in-law, Charlie Miller, Junior Roberts, Bill Cope, David McNew, Hollis McManaway, and Barb McManaway; and son-in-law, Dean Coffman. Johnny is survived by daughters, Melanie (Kevin)Williams, Monica Myers, Marsha Dee (Dennis) Duck, Dawn (Todd) Coniam, and Donna (Jon) Pless; son, John (Shawne) Myers; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ben Coniam (Annie Coniam and Alyssa Navarro), Megan Coniam, Emily (Nick) Darnell ( Madeline and Charlotte), Zachary (Linh) Duck(Vanessa ), Zeke Duck, Abby Duck, Mary Kathryn Coffman, John Dallas Coffman(Isabelle), Peter Williams, Will Myers, and John Carter Myers. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am-12:30 pm on Thursday, March 27th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm with Rev. Heath Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
