Joseph "Jody" "Hoot" Carter Fawbush

Joseph Carter “Jody” “Hoot” Fawbush, Jr., age 62, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his residence. Hoot was well known and loved for his passion for coaching kids for over forty years and for his love of Alabama football and Kentucky basketball. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud and Lois Fawbush and George and Josephine Lawson; and step-father, Ron Yenzer. He is survived by his father, Joseph, Sr. (Sandra) Fawbush; mother, Denise Yenzer; brother, Scott (Sarah) Bunch; sisters, Tammy Murr, Elizabeth (Scott) Crews, Amy (Peter) Hicks, Lesley (Ty) Burdine, Kasey (Brad) Houck, and Kristy (Kevin) Tippins; dear friend, Tim Woodard; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, September 23rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Bo Fawbush officiating.
