Joyce Ann (Hopper) Bruce Vile

Joyce Ann Bruce Vile, age 89, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Jefferson Park Nursing Home in Dandridge. She was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and a member of Alpha Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Joyce was a secretary for the Nolachucky Baptist Association for twenty six years. She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bruce; second husband, Joseph Vile; daughter, Robin Guinn; brother, T. J. Hopper; and sisters, Cleo Hopper, Faye Robertson, and Jean Jinks. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Lansdown; nephews, Mark Jinks (Todd), Roger Hopper, Kent Hopper, and Paul Hopper; nieces, Beth (Derrick) Jinks and Sheila Trent; and son-in-law, Terry Guinn. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. James Williams and Rev. Heath Smith officiating.
