Juanita (Shiflet) Bowlin

Juanita Shiflet Bowlin, age 88, of Morristown, passed away at her home on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was a member of Thankful Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bowlin; daughters, Brenda Livesay and Deborah Stepp; granddaughter, Amy Livesay; parents, Charlie and Laura Shiflet; sisters, Doshia Brobeck, Dossie Haskins, Eilene Williams, Doris Seay, and Barbara Berry. She is survived by son, Neil (Melinda) Bowlin; daughter, Donna (Larry) Templin; son-in-law, Doug Livesay; grandchildren, Steve Livesay, Danny Livesay, Lori Underwood, Brandi Rico, Amanda Moon, Alex Bowlin, and Haley Bowlin; step grandchildren, Shelly Fuel, and Brody Thomas; fourteen great grandchildren; special niece and caregiver, Linda Johnson; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 31st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am on Thursday, August 1st at Thankful Baptist Church with Rev. David Alder officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
