Julia Inez (Fleenor) Stewart

Julia Inez Stewart, age 93, of Sneedville, born on May 4, 1932, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born to Verdie and Milum Fleenor and was a member of Panther Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sneedville. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Foye Olen Stewart; her parents; daughter, Charlotte; son, Larry Stewart; brothers, Henry “Dick” Fleenor and Willie Thomas “Bud” Fleenor; and sisters, Callie Fugate, Nina Richardson, Betty Fleenor, and Bessie Sue Carter. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Long, Diann (Frank) Hanley, Kathy (Wayne) Davis, and Candra (Kenny) Lawson; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Inez Davidson Stiles of Cleveland, TN. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and to Dr. Campbell in Sneedville. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Thursday, July 17th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Trent Cemetery in Sneedville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
