Juliana Dayle Goodman, age 44, of Talbott, went home to be with our Savior Friday, August 15, 2025. Julie was loved by so many and was always known for her selflessness, kindness, and generosity. Julie embodied compassion in every interaction, making everyone around her feel valued. At home, she was the cornerstone of the family. She had unwavering devotion in her role as a wife and mother. She treasured spending time with her family and ensuring every need was met. Her heart for animals was huge, and she loved her German Shepherds, especially Jerry who was her work-from-home buddy. Her humor was just as big as her heart and could light up a room. At work, she was a leader who guided others with wisdom and a friend whom anyone could rely on. Julie held a Master’s in Business Administration from Carson Newman University and graduated from Cocke County High School in 1999. She treasured the friendships she made with colleagues at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Dollywood, and throughout her other places of work. In her role as Director of Accounting at Dollywood, she was involved in many park and resort projects that highlighted how strong her work-ethic and ambition for success were. More importantly, she cared for her team, not only professionally, but personally also. Julie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, L.S. and Mary Jenkins; paternal grandparents, John and Edna Shetley; and great Aunt, Martha Omega Jackson. She is survived by her beloved husband, David; her children, Andrew (fiancée Tara) and Mary; her parents, Raymond Dale and Sandra Shetley; brother, Ray (Eva) Shetley; sister-in-law, Tessie (Link) Crawford, and their children Micah and Isaiah (Zuleyma) Crawford. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, August 21st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Joey Buck officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, August 22nd at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Talbott for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
