Julienne Anne Godin, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 peacefully and went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Anne, as she was known, was born June 4, 1936 to Frank and Viola Martel in Shirley, Massachusetts. She was the youngest of five children. Anne was a woman of many talents. She loved to cook, but her greatest passion was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sewing quilts for every member of the family and her friends. Anne had a zest for life and all of nature. She was a bird watcher and a cat lover, but most importantly, she loved the Lord with everything in her being. Anne married Phillip E. Godin on October 15, 1955. The union gave them two children, Pamela and George. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and her husband. Anne is survived by her children, Pamela Albrecht and George Godin; grandchildren, Danielle Courtemanche, Christopher Godin, Jennifer Godin, Jeremiah (Alison) Albrecht, Benjamin Albrecht, and Stephanie (Joshua) Collins; great-grandchildren, Ayrias Petitt, Jackson Courtemanche, Halah Godin, Auriel Albrecht, Scout (Elliot) Rosell, and Tate Buttry; and great-great granddaughter, Novella Rosell. Anne will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor J.R. Hengehold officiating. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
