Karen Michelle Webster, age 50, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Strawberry Plains Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. Karen was a Christian and was a member of Holston Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains. Karen was smart, funny and kind. She enjoyed helping others. She was the type of person who saw the good in people, even when they didn't deserve it, and would give her last dollar to help someone in need. She is survived by her mother, Brenda Widener; father, John Depew Jr.; sister, Crystal Depew (Scott Russell); beloved nephew, Ethan Russell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosie and Clay Anderson, and Ann and John Depew; stepfather, Richard Widener; aunts Sue Anderson and Reba Dodson; uncles David Depew, Ron Depew, Ezra Anderson, and Mitchell Dodson; and several cousins.
