Kevin Duane Jarnigan

Kevin Duane Jarnigan, age 21, of Mooresburg, born on April 17, 2001, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville after losing his battle with leukemia. He graduated from Cherokee High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Jarnigan; mother, Jennifer Long; aunt, Misty Purkey; and grandfather, Johnny Lane. He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Jarnigan, Nathaniel Long, and Marcus Cauldell; sisters, Angel Russell and Cierra Sharp; grandparents, Brenda Sue Shelnutt and Gary and Brenda Hill; aunts and uncles, Terri Shelnutt, Dayton Purkey, Mekeysha and Billy Hatley, Hilary Hill, Brandon Lamb, and Roger Purkey; and many more cousins, close friends, and family. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Jarnigan officiating. Interment will follow at Kirkpatrick Cemetery in Mooresburg. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
