Larry “Fletch” Fletcher, age 69, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 after a battle with cancer. He was a member of New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard. He was a life member of VVA Chapter 1073 and the VFW Post 5266. He was formerly employed by Lowes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Juanita Fletcher. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Fletcher; step-sons, Gregory Scott (Beth) Cline and Charles Ashley (Misty) Cline; grandchildren, Aaron Wilson, Trevor Cline, and Alex Cline; brother, Ronnie Fletcher of Bean Station; sister-in-law, Theona Drinnon; brother-in-law, Terry (Helen) Ricker; special friends, Tommy and Kim Munsey; fur baby, “Baby”; and many other friends to numerous to mention. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Saturday, October 13 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Munsey officiating. Military graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 14 at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Terry Bell, Chris Garnsey, Billy James, James Melton, Matt Statham, and Josh Stevenson. Alternate pallbearers will be Dennis Knight and Billy Wise. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Westside Chapel Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
