Lillie "Diane" (Green) Ward

Lillie “Diane” Ward, age 69, of Russellville, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 24, 2025 peacefully at UT Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed.  She also was proud member of Powerhouse Missionary Baptist Church where she was a very faithful Christian who loved the lord dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Plas and Bonnie Green; sister, Avonelle Ricketts; and brother, Larry Greene.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Larry Ward; daughter, Peggy (Gene) Ivy; Grandsons, Aaron Ivy, and Zachary (Lacie) Ivy; sisters, Gail (Gordon) Stroud, and Annette (Benny) White; sisters-in-law, Linda Greene, and Dinah (Wayne) Duff; Brothers-in law, Johnny Ricketts and Bill Ward; and several nieces, nephews, and extended church family. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 28th at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Tuesday with Rev. Lonnie Dalton and Rev. Dale Harris officiating. Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday, January 29th at Bethesda Cemetery. Arrangements By Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
