Louise (Jackson) Guinn

Louise Jackson Guinn, age 80, born April 7, 1943, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Lakeshore Road Baptist Church. Louise was mostly homebound for several years and was so blessed to have many friends and neighbors, which she kept in contact with by phone calls, texting, and sending cards. She will be truly missed by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll L. Guinn; parents, Jim and Amanda Jackson; brother, Bill Jackson; niece, Rhonda Jackson; and brothers-in-law, Jesse Simmons and Junior Lawson. She is survived by her sisters, Minnie J. Simmons and Glenda J. Lawson; sister-in-law, Helen Jackson; nephews, Joe Jackson and David (Missy) Jackson; she was affectionately known as “Momma Lou” by special nieces, Jeanie (Jerry) Hannah and Lois Guinn; and close friends, Rusella Green and Dr. Michael Wiseman. Special thanks to Dr. Rama for being such a wonderful and caring physician to her for many years. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 27th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunderland Cemetery with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.
