Mabel Marie (Fielder) Davidson

Mabel Davidson, age 86, of Morristown, passed away on July 27, 2024. She was a graduate of Morristown High school in 1956 and was married to her high school sweetheart, Lloyd Davidson for 54 years when he preceded her in death.  She was a life-long member of Alpha Baptist Church and a dedicated believer in Jesus. She was employed by the Hamblen County School System in the cafeteria. She also loved cooking, especially sweet treats, such as fried apple pies and cakes for family and friends and it gave her great joy.  A faithful care giver for family and friends, she frequently took them to their doctor appointments. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Opal Fielder; her brothers, R.C. Fielder and Johnny K. Fielder; and husband.  Mabel’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her siste,r Billie Rae Solomon; her children, Keith Davidson (Jamie), Ronald Davidson (Sara), and Karen Moceri (Bussie); 8 grand children; and 13 great-grand children. Services to honor and celebrate the life of Mabel Marie Davidson will be held at Westside Chapel Funeral Home, located at 3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown TN 37814.  Visitation will be Friday, August 2nd, 5:00PM - 7:00PM and services will be August 3rd at 10:00 AM.  Following the service, Mabel will be laid to rest at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Andrew Johnson Highway, Jefferson City, TN. The honor of pallbearer is bestowed upon her grandsons, Ryan, Jacob, Jordan, and Kaleb Davidson, Sebastian and Vanderbilt Moceri, with honorary pallbearers being grandson, Nathan Davidson, nephew David Soloman, and grandson-in-law, Jason Gill. Speakers, including her daughter, Karen Moceri, son, Ronald Davidson and her son, Rev. Keith Davidson, will share memories and reflections on Mabel’s faith, family, and service. Mabel Marie Davidson will be profoundly missed as she has touched so many people with her love and generous heart.
