Maggie (Smith) Zeeryp

Maggie Smith Zeeryp, age 93, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Life Care Center of Morristown. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church up until her illness and was retired from South Central Bell. She was an active member of the Pioneers and was an avid golfer and enjoyed ceramics and painting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Zeeryp, Sr.; parents, Robert L. and Clara Smith; brothers, Robert G. Smith and William H. “Jack” Smith; sister, Shirley J. Collins; niece, Tammy Smith; and nephews, William S. Collins and Mark Smith. She is survived by her son, Russell Zeeryp, Jr. of White Pine; daughter, Jennifer Jones Estep; grandson, Robert Russell   Jones and wife Mary Ann Sims Jones; great-grandchildren, Russell R. Jones and Rebecca M. Jones; niece, Rhonda C. Matthews; and nephews, Herman Collins, Timothy Smith, and Robby Smith. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, February 17th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 18th at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
