Marc James Masoner, age 52, of Morristown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He was born on July 19, 1969 in Shape Headquarters, Belgium. Marc graduated from Morristown-Hamblen High School East in 1987. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the 2nd/75th Ranger Regiment. He served during the Panama Invasion and Operation Desert Shield and Storm. Out of all his accomplishments in his life, he would always say his kids were his greatest. From coaching girl’s softball, to being a cheer dad, and even a hog show coach, he loved it all because it was with his kids. Marc always had a way to make everyone he was around feel special. Loved, Adored, and Cherished are three things he will eternally be. RLTW – All the way. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jean and Carr Reagan and Margaret and James Masoner; and step-father, Ed Haley. He is survived by his mother, Donna Haley; father, Gene (Robyn) Masoner; children, Erica Williams, Abigail Masoner, and James Garrett Masoner; their mother, Melanie Masoner; special friend, Allie Simpson; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, October 14th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
