Margaret Fanney Holt

Margaret Fanney Holt, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Serenity Hospice House. She was a member of the House of Prayer. Margaret loved to go to church and she loved to can food and sew. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Jones; father, William Soloman; sister, Joann Hurst; and brother, Kyle Spears. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Buddy Holt; son, Joseph Holt of White Pine; sisters, Mary Barnard, Treasa “Cookie” Rickard, Faye Henson, and Brenda Collins; and close friends, Joe Devotie, Betty Jones, and Dorie Hickey. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, October 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Gray officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 7th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
