Marilyn Jean (Laughters) Ricker

Marilyn Jean Ricker, age 91, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith. Marilyn was a loving and devoted mother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Ricker; parents, Joe and Edna Laughters; brother, James Laughters; and sister, Carol Ricker. She is survived by her son, Gary Ricker; daughter, Teresa (Bill) Harwood; and special nieces, Theona Drinnon and Cindy Hensley. Special thanks to Caris Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and care shown during her illness. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, November 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Don Lamb officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 12th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
