Martha Louise (Long) Atkins

Martha Louise Atkins, age 77, of Dandridge, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at U.T. Medical Center. She attended Arrow Head Church and loved her job as a Tax Preparer at H&R Block. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Martha loved camping, fishing, boating, gardening, and sitting on the front porch drinking her coffee with her husband of 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Lether Long; and grandson, Riley Harrell. She is survived by her devoted husband, Andrew “John” Atkins; children, Ann (Nathan Emmert) Harrell, Adone (Dannell) Atkins, and Angie (Keith) Farnham; grandchildren, Tyler Atkins, Taylor (Holly) Atkins, Alexandra Harrell, Allison (Jacob) Coffey, Abby Emmert, Abby (Nate) Coffey, Lindsey (Josh) Emmert, and Lorean Atkins; and great grandchildren, Tala Smith, Aleia Miller, and Jensen Britt. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, October 16th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet for an 11 am graveside service on Friday, October 17th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to U.T. Medical Center and the staff in NCC.
