Martha "Aileen" (Atkins) Yount

Martha “Aileen” Atkins Yount, gained her wings and went to be with Jesus at the age of 87 on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Martha was a member of Noeton Primitive Baptist Church in Bean Station. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira “Drew” Yount; mother and father, Lonnie and Bessie Atkins; brothers and sisters, Matthew and Rose Atkins, Howard and Dorothy Kirkham, and Condon Atkins. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn Yount and Douglas and Renee Yount; grandchildren, Robbie and Jacqueline Yount, Marie and Luke Norton, Ashley and Robert Gordon, and Andy Moore; great- grandchildren Drew, Logan, Douglas, and Jessie Norton, Kaylee Foust, Landon Chastain, Maddie Yount, Kalei Gordon, and Ansleigh Moore; step-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Ethan Oliver; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mildred and Lee Street. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sunday May 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Larry Atkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, May 8th at Noeton Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
