Marvin "Bud" Eugene Gregg

Marvin Eugene “Bud” Gregg, age 69, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 with his family by his side. He was the pastor of the House of Prayer in Jesus Name. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Gregg; mother, Mary Sue Lackey; father, Lige Gregg; and an infant sister. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Jerry) Talton, Brian (Missy) Gregg, Tim Gregg, Ricky Gregg, Cassie Gregg, and Mark Gregg; brother, Robert (Tammy) Lackey; sisters, Angela (Bob) Smith and Joann (Ronnie) Greene; several other half brothers and sisters; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12th at the House of Prayer in Jesus Name with Rev. Allen Williams and Rev. Daryl Phillips officiating. The body will lie in state from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
