Mary Edith (Manis) Lamons

Mary Edith Lamons, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Frank Lamons; daughter, Letina Browder; parents, Evan and Caroline Manis; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Ryan (Christy) Seals of Greensboro, NC; daughters, Christina Lamons, Connie Lamons of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Vicki (Joe) Miller of Maryland; grandchildren, Candace (David) Harvey, Jessica Browder, and Nicki Miller; brother, Bill Manis; sisters, Hattie Collins and Vivian Helton; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, January 4th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. John Thomason officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 5th at Manis Cemetery in Eidson, TN for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
