Mary Lobelia (Branner) Martin

Mary Lobelia Martin, age 93, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at her residence. She was a faithful member of Westview Baptist Church. Mary retired from Magnavox after several years and then became the Manager of the MATS Shelter for the homeless. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. Martin; parents, Warren Branner and Mary Louella Stewart; four sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by her children, Cathy (David) Walker, Linda J. Martin, Drusilla Martin Sparks, and Kerwin O. Martin; six grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and their staff. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, September 6th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Travis Webb officiating.
