Maxine H. (Harris) Cotter

Maxine H. Cotter, age 56, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Tevis (Hoskins) Harris; sisters, Mildred “Mid” Parker, Patricia Brooks, and Zoria Harris Mason; and brother, Roy Harris. She is survived by her husband, Paul Cotter; sons, Harold, Jr. (Ericka) Wiggins, Robby Cotter, and Jason Cotter; daughter, Tonya Cotter Paxton (Mark Valentine); grandchildren, Jacoby Wiggins, Jaylin Cotter, Jurnee Paxton, Morgan Homrighausen, Blake Cotter, and Colton Paxton; brothers, Jack (Pam) Harris and Bill (Judy) Harris; sister, Carol (David) Parton; special friend and caretaker, Theresa Fugate; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Thompson Cancer Center and Avalon Hospice. Due to the CDC guidelines for limited people at gatherings, friends may pay their respects from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Noe’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Greene and Rev.
