Mickey Hugh Johnson

Mickey Hugh Johnson, age 67, of Whitesburg, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. The love of his life, Jan Sellers, was at his side. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh W. and Ruth N. Johnson; grandparents, Creed and Carrie Nichols and Harrison and Tilda Johnson; brother-in-law, Alan C. Greene; and his only nephew, Bryan C. Greene. He is survived by his children, Tonya Lenee’ Johnson, Christina Michelle Willoughby, and Jared Hugh Johnson; children-in-law, Brian Willoughby and Forrest Johnson; sister and bestest friend, Teresa Johnson Greene; grandchildren, Jordan, Ally, Brayden, Kylee, Connor, and Bella; great-grandchildren, Parker and Clayton; and dear friends, Bob and Carol Barwick and Dennis and Sandy Rosen. Mickey grew up in Hancock County, TN and graduated from Hancock High. He was saved and baptized at Duck Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville. He was a longtime and valued employee of Morristown Drivers Services as Maintenance Shop Supervisor. Mickey was much loved by many. He was a wonderful host to family and friends and always prayed the most beautiful prayers before each meal. Mickey loved the outdoors and caring for his lawn and fields. He loved his labs, Harper and Ace, horses, and herd of Watusi cattle. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, June 29th at 7 p.m. at his farm, J-Star Stables. Western attire is welcome. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
