Mildred “Mid” Livesay Miller, age 85, of Talbott, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown and a member of the Amos Sunday School Class. Mildred worked in the Hamblen County School System for twenty seven years. She was a loving wife, mother, Nan, and sister and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tip and Ethel Livesay; brother, Kelly Livesay; and sisters, Thelma Trent, Mae Regnier, and Betty Samsel. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty seven years and caregiver, Wayne Miller; daughter, Lisa (Eddie) Echols; son, Doug (Becky) Miller; special granddaughter, Emily Ann (Tim) Walton; brothers, Dale (Bessie) Livesay, Don Livesay, and Chuck (Myrna) Livesay; sister, Lois Trent; brother-in-law, Jack Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Tennova Hospice and special caregiver, Kim Harville. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, August 20th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 21st at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Pat Summitt Foundation or to the Alzheimers’s Foundation. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
