Mildred "Mid" (Livesay) Miller

Mildred “Mid” Livesay Miller, age 85, of Talbott, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown and a member of the Amos Sunday School Class. Mildred worked in the Hamblen County School System for twenty seven years. She was a loving wife, mother, Nan, and sister and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tip and Ethel Livesay; brother, Kelly Livesay; and sisters, Thelma Trent, Mae Regnier, and Betty Samsel. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty seven years and caregiver, Wayne Miller; daughter, Lisa (Eddie) Echols; son, Doug (Becky) Miller; special granddaughter, Emily Ann (Tim) Walton; brothers, Dale (Bessie) Livesay, Don Livesay, and Chuck (Myrna) Livesay; sister, Lois Trent; brother-in-law, Jack Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Tennova Hospice and special caregiver, Kim Harville. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, August 20th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 21st at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services.
