Nancy Diane Linkous, age 74, of Morristown, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She had a love for sewing and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Inez Williams; sister, Patricia “Deegie” Dalton; and special friend, Papaw Junior Campbell. She is survived by her sons, Rodney (April) Crider, Cyrus Linkous, and Xander “Booder” Linkous; daughters, Shondra (Dustin) Helton and Rylee Linkous; grandchildren, Lucas Crider, Lance Crider, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Wilson, and Candace (Brad) Davis; great-grandchildren, Braylon Wilson and River Davis; sisters, Carol Harrell, Cathy A. Maxey, and Phyllis (Harold) Noe; special neighbor, James; special friend, Lucille Lawson; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to nurses, Dave Henson and Brittany Cobble for taking special care of her son Xander. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Harold Noe and Rev. Don Holt officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
