Nathaniel Shields Jones

Nathaniel Shields Jones, age 37, of Rutledge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Nathaniel loved doing woodworking, working on cars, and his model cars. He was a 2011 graduate of Nashville Auto and Diesel College. He was preceded in death by his sister, Charity Williams; step-father, Jerry Douglas; step-mother, Janie Jones; grandparents, Bill and Inez Jones; and aunt, Sharon Wood. He is survived by his wife Monika Jones; daughters, Adalynn and Alexis Jones; father, Norman (Florence) Jones; mother, Rebekah MacWithey; step-sons, Evan and Eli Arnold; brothers, Shane and Daniel Farrow; aunt, Peggy Kennedy; uncle, Randy Jones; and cousin, Brandi Fields (Brad Jones). The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 25th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kim Farrow officiating. Interment will follow at Central Point Church Cemetery in Rutledge. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
