Nita "Peg" M. Morgan

Nita “Peg” M. Morgan, age 77, of White Pine, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was born on December21, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Peg was a talented seamstress with a specialty in quilting. She loved spending time with her family and most of all, she was a devout Christian with an unwavering belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nita Morris; sons, Don Johnson and Rich Johnson; sister, Linda Deveraux; and nephew, Heath Hofheinz. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Morgan; daughters, Mary (Scott) Zimmerman, Tammy (Jerry) Grubb, Bobby Allen (Tanya) Morgan, and Brittanie (Michael) Wendt; grandchildren, Nicholas Maxwell, Ashlyn Johnson, Chris (Brandi) Skipworth, and Chelsey Skipworth; and nieces, Anita M. Albaugh and Donna (Lance) Tolbert. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Trevor Roberts officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services.
