Norma L. (Ledford) McCoy

Norma L. McCoy, age 84, of Talbott, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. Norma worked as a bookkeeper, a bridal consultant, and as a homemaker. Norma loved helping children and she taught Sunday School for many years. She loved her many dogs over the years, collected decorative bells, loved listening to music, loved flowers, and trivia game shows. She loved visiting the Smoky Mountains. She married Bobby McCoy in 1959 and they remained married for sixty-three years. They adopted two sons, Michael Todd (Kathy) McCoy and Christopher Lee (Tammy) McCoy. Norma is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also deeply loved by her faithful dog, “Buddy.” Norma was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. A graveside service will be held in Marietta, Georgia for family and close friends. The family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Norma’s name if so desired.
