Norman Ray Boatman, age 43, of Morristown, formerly of Rutledge, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis H. Boatman; mother, Aileen J. Boatman; and brother, Jeffery L. Boatman. He is survived by his brothers, Bruce Boatman, Buddy Boatman, Jerry Williams, and Miran Williams; sisters, Renea Boatman, Jeanette Williams, and Irene (John) Collins; brother-in-law, Mark Hannah; sister-in-law, Shauntel Carmack; nephews; Alexander Carmack, Matthew Boatman, Austin Goode, and Jacob Goode; nieces, Brittany Boatman and Megan Boatman; several more nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Melanie Mckinney and many more. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, November 19th at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutledge for graveside services. The family request everyone attending please wear a mask.
