Obie Allen Barnes, age 43, of Morristown, born January 28, 1977, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2020. Obie was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He loved Pitt bulldogs, first Monday’s, fast muscle cars, and loud old trucks. His hugs and laugh were as a big as his heart. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Ronnie Barnes and Glen Wilburn; aunts, Marie Bolden and Debbie Wilburn; and sister, Shelly Johnson Moore. He is survived by his wife, Nikki Barnes; children, Justin and Lily Barnes; parents, Lester Barnes and Wilma Chamberlain; brother, Joseph; sisters, Danielle, Becky, Tammy, Kelly, and Jessica; uncle, Charles Wilburn; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friends, Leslie, Rodney, Ricky, Nathan, Bobby, and Jimmy Seay. The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
