Patricia Faye Smith, age 79, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at her residence. She was a member of Pentecostal Assembly. Patricia was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and was strong in her faith. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, James Duane Smith; mother, Dobinka Parker; great-grandson, Isaiah Jarnigan; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Timmon) Johnson; sons, James Smith (fiancé, Sandra Johnson) and Heath (Nicole) Smith; grandchildren, Alicia, Shane, Remington, Emily, and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Chasity, Chandra, and Raeghan; great-great grandchild, Maverick; sisters, Sandra Parker, Pamela Sauceman, and Debra Taylor; and brother, Ricky Parker. Special thanks to U.T. Home Health and Hospice and nurse, Susan Quinn. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 3rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Brian Southerland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4th at Bent Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg for graveside services.
