Paul J. King, age 66, of Mooresburg, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church and was employed by Hamblen County for over forty years where he always went above and beyond for the people. He was a sweet and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence King; mother, Helen Biggs; and brothers, Coy King and Chris King. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Trent King; children, Betty (Gary) Hettler, David (Sherri) King, Mark (Brooke) King and their loving mother, Brenda King, and daughter, Heather Hartsock; step-daughter, Julie Trent; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends and family. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Friday, May 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tracy Clifford officiating. Interment will follow at Mullins Cemetery in Sneedville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
