Ralph Moore Corliss, Jr., age 77, of Morristown, took his Heavenly flight to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born in Knoxville, TN and raised in the James White Fort cabin and graduated from South High School and then attended the University of Tennessee. Ralph was saved while at a youth church camp at an early age. He was a long-time and faithful member of Manley Baptist Church. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army where he served our country proudly in Vietnam. He had his hand in many entrepreneurial endeavors, including concert promotions, charter fishing, and real estate, but custom jewelry was his specialty. He owned and operated R.M. Corliss Jewelers for many years before retiring. Ralph had a heart for helping under privileged people and loved to hand out German chocolate candy bars to whomever he encountered; trash collectors, nurses, Doctors, cashiers, etc. He became known as the “Candy Man.” He also had a ministry of passing out Ephesians 6 “Armor of God” coins. Ralph is survived by his wife of forty five years, Judy Corliss; son, Kris (Maria) Corliss; daughter, Brittney (Jesse) Dixon; grandchildren, Kamryn (Isaiah) Eddington, Roman and Loftin Corliss, and Leiliana, Masyn, and Crossley Dixon; brother, Tony Underwood (Marta Adams); sister, Rikki (Dana) Reynolds; nephews, Benjamin and Christopher Daniels and Jose Adams; several cousins; and his special pet, Charley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph, Sr. and Helen Corliss. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 16th at Manley Baptist Church. A celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Ben Garrison and Rev. Mike Watkins officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
