Ralph Junior Southerland

Ralph Junior Southerland, age 72, of Mooresburg, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force retiring after twenty-eight years of service. Ralph spent many enjoyable hours on the golf course. He was preceded in death by his parents; Rolf and Georgia Southerland; sister, Bertha (Kenny) Raines; niece Karen Raines; and uncle, Everett Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Southerland; sons, Jamey (Nicole) Southerland and Kevin Southerland; grandchildren, Aubrey (Daniel) Jones, Annikka Southerland, Cierra Southerland, and Zander Southerland; great-grandchild, Raelan Wells; sister, Lois Oran; and special friends, Gary and Teresa McCurry. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for military graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
