Ralph Dean “Papaw” Collins, age 87, of Morristown, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Heritage Center. He was a member of Montvue Baptist Church and was an avid bowler. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lucille Collins; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Stella Collins; son, Rick (Yvonne) Collins; grandchildren, Michele (Tony) Ballard, Ricky D. Collins, Twila Rule (Patrick), and Heather Collins; great-grandchildren, Brocklynn Haynes, Logan Haynes, Avery Collins, Mackenzie Collins, Ricky Collins, Jr., Ryan Collins, Noah Collins, Ryder Collins, Katie Bradley, and Caden Sizemore; great-great grandchild, Mason Snyder; brothers, Tommy Collins and Terry Collins; sisters, Dot Lawson, Barbara Hodge, and Jimmy Parton; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 1 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ken Cole and Rev. Lance Cummings officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
