Randall "Randy" Preston McCarter

Randall Preston “Randy” McCarter, age 72, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his residence. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved Mopar and Drag Racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond McCarter; and son, Scott McCarter. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay McCarter; mother, Virginia Watkins McCarter; sons, Randall Jason (Jackie) McCarter of Karns, TN and Blake (Megan) McCarter; brother, Gary L. (Cathy) McCarter; sister, Sharen McCarter all of Morristown; grandchildren, Karissa Newman, Jaycee McCarter of Karns, TN, Preston Scott “Scotty” McCarter, and Wrenna Sloane McCarter of Morristown; step-daughter, Lora (Chad) Mullins of Russellville; and step-son, Jeremy Smith, of Talbott. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, February 17th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
