Ray Campbell, age 84, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Unicoi County Hospital in Irwin. He was a member and deacon of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Korea, and retired from BASF. Ray was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Jinks Campbell; parents, Kyle and Lucy Campbell; and sister, Barbara Witherspoone. He is survived by his wife, Jane Campbell; children, Jennifer King, Johnny Campbell, Jeff (Debbie) Campbell, and Joy (Stuart) Rogers; step-children, Joyce (Garry) Dalton and Donna (Ernie) Burzell; grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Darnell, Nick (Brittani) King, Josh (Andie) Campbell, Travis Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Bruce (Nadine) Logue, Sean Logue, Taylor Campbell, Erin (Joe) Bilotti, Jenna Rogers, and Melissa Sawyer; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ken Cole, Rev. Justin Self, and Rev. Nick King officiating. Military graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 5th at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
